• In June 2019, HHN signed a partnership agreement with Spring Rains Development, a Canadian based NGO with extensive experience in establishing sustainable agriculture in third world countries. SRD has spent the last five plus years partnering with another Canadian based nonprofit, Bopoma Villages, on a very successful agricultural initiative. Bopoma Villages is located in very rural Zimbabwe with ecological conditions very similar to those of Puit Chacha, Haiti. HHN is very excited about working with the wonderful people of both these organizations as they try to help us migrate their success to Eddy’s people in Haiti.
  • Helping Haitians in Need has partnered with the Foundation Eddy Buissereth for Children in Haiti with Difficulties to provide direct support to the community of Puit Chacha. In addition to managing and personally funding his foundation that includes a school, orphanage, and church, Pastor Eddy is also at the center of several local projects in the Puit Chacha area. With our assistance and Pastor Eddy’s perseverance, we built a large cistern capable of providing filtered, potable water to the over 2,500 people of Puit Chacha. We continue to work closely with Pastor Eddy by providing support to his foundation and the ongoing maintenance of the cistern.
